Show Me Your Love

Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

Going through the motions of professing your faith in Christ publicly is not the only requirement of expressing your LOVE for God.  Much like an engagement between a man and a woman does not exclusively identify the strength of the love they have for one another. Commitment is identified when the bond is tested.

As we learned when studying about the bond servant, true "Salvation" is when the heart is changed, or one recognizes the sacrifice made by Christ so the individual can be restored to their Father in heaven...God.

This is what the bond servant did when he recognized the sacrifice made by his master. The master had compassion on the one "in debt", accepted responsibility, and freed the one in bondage.

Too many believers have been deceived into believing that "salvation" will be a "tip-toe" through the tulips. It has been more of a "motion" or act rather than a true "transformation" or total surrender and submission...the release of one's right to self...an act of true love. God demonstrates the relationship He wants with us through the marriage of one man and one woman.  How God ordained it.

Why then are so many Christians and non believers not understanding the "requirements" of this relationship?  Man has manipulated the value of marriage.

So, when reading Romans 8:28 we see that if one is in line, or truly surrendered and submitted to God, His purposes will be obtained through whatever things...good or bad...we may experience. "Count all things joy" James 1:2.

Love for God, true love provides and requires discipline. Are you being disciplined, truly challenged and changed, or do you avoid it by just going through the motions, deceiving yourself and others?

Respond to the call.....
