About Me

Welcome to Responding to the Call. I am excited that you came by for a visit. I am excited to see what the LORD will do to impact the hearts of those who visit these pages.

A little about me.  I live my life to serve the one and only God. I believe in the trinity, God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). I believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God and is written by those who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is as applicable today as when He first spoke.

I believe that if I claim to know God, then I must have an intimate relationship with Him obtained through the reading of His word and living a life that bears the fruit of His presence in my life. I know that salvation is not the end of the path. It is just the beginning. Salvation affords me access to the Father so He can mature me through His transformation process. " I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" Galatians 2:20.  It is by my reflecting His work in me that the world will see that God exists and His son Jesus Christ, His Holy Spirit are very much alive.

Responding to the Great Commission requires an intimate, active relationship with God.  One must understand his or her responsibility as a part of His body and respond.  As a former firefighter and paramedic, I was available to serve the community to respond to the call for help. As a Christian, I have applied the same responsibility, listen for and be available to Christ when He calls me to serve Him.  As believers, we must decide who we will serve, ourselves of God. Many in the body of Christ have fallen asleep and need to be awakened (resuscitated) to service, so not to miss the alarm. I invite you to receive the same challenge, the same duty to ... Respond to the call.

In Him, for Him, through Him,

Clint
