Mapping Your Path

Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NASB) 11 "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I Have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile."             Jeremiah was one of the most strategically placed prophets that God used to serve Israel. Why? He was bold, not afraid to speak what God had placed upon him to speak.  He was speaking to the Jews, God's chosen people, to try to restore their relationship to God. Because of Israel's repeated disobedience and the failure of previous prophets to be bold in speaking God's word, Je

Be Bold!

Ezekiel 3:1-11 (NASB)  1" Then He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel." 2 So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll. 3 He said to me, "Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you." Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. 4 Then He said to me, "Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them. 5 For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel, 6 nor to many peoples of unintelligible speech of difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. But I have sent you to them who should listen to you; 7 yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. Surely the whole house of Israel is stubborn and obstinate. 8 Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as

Intimacy with God- What a value!

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Wow!  How blessed is the one who claims God as their LORD and Savior?  To think the creator wants to spend time with you and share His most intimate thoughts.  God wants intimacy! He desires a relationship beyond the "superficial" you. You are SIGNIFICANT in His eyes. Do you desire to spend time with Him?  Are you available to listen?  Do not let fear sweep you away in it's current of doubt.  Trust in God and less in yourself and maybe you will begin to see clearly, hear more distinctly, speak more cautiously, and do more obediently.

Which one are you?

The Bible-God's Care Plan

In health care it is important to provide a "seamless" flow of continued care for patients.  This "flow" is important so that a patient receives the necessary, efficient care over time.  This is termed "continuity of care".  One of the goals is to provide trust in the patient/healthcare relationship. At anytime, but especially difficult times, Christians must have an unwavering "trust" in God. Trust comes by faith. In Hebrews we see that the new Christians were persecuted because of their recognition of Christ as the Messiah. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as " the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."  Many of the new Christians turned back to their old ways, trusting in man, because of fearing persecution. Many in the church today are being "turned back".  They are being transformed by the world. Not persevering in their faith.             Why do you think that is?
