Live Boldly For Christ

1 Peter 2:15-16 "For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. 16 Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God".

The laws of our land may change justifying the sinful ways of man. What once was considered wrong is now right and what was once considered right is now wrong. 1 Peter 3:17 "For it is better, for if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong".  Read Proverbs 14:32, 2 Corinthians 13:7, Revelation 22:11.

As a Christian or a pursuer of the faith, you should, for your own sake seek and keep to the promises of God. Do not conform to the world, but rather transform it. But how can you do this if you do not know Him or His word?

Do not allow the freedom of man (laws that justify living the way you want to) justify your complacency in living out your life for Christ.  Even though you are free in mans eyes to "live the lifestyle you want" trust in God's love for you and be not deceived. Man will use you or sacrifice you in order to obtain his will. God sacrificed Himself to obtain you.

Do not live as hypocrites giving ammunition to those who oppose your faith. Your choice to live for Christ, denying self, will give greater testimony to the reality of God than your words.

God's grace through the death of His son Jesus Christ does not justify continuing to live as you did before Christ. Your choice to obey God, to walk in His ways confirms the power of God to change man.  Your freedom gives good reason to choose to live your life for Christ committed to His will and not your own.

God's grace frees us from sin...not give us a license to commit it.
